Sydney was making her way back towards her house from the beach. She had spent a great afternoon at the beach, just relaxing and having fun. She had walked around La Push a little and then figured, since it was getting really dark, that she should head home. No, it wasn't any where near night time. It was still early afternoon. There was a storm coming. Moving a little faster, she soon saw her house and stepped inside. She had called Sarah, asking her if she wanted to come over and just hang out. They hadn't really done that since she went to Seattle and Sarah had tagged along. It had been a fun little trip.
Slipping her shoes off, Sydney headed upstairs to her room and changed into something a little more comfortable. Coming back to the living room, she got a nice little fire going and then grabbed something to eat. Sitting down, she took a bite of her food and waited for Sarah to come over.

Sarah was excited for a girls night, that was most certain. She needed to speak to someone, and really, Sydney was the only one she'd ever consider. She hurried over to her friend's home at the designated time (if early, which was quite out of character for Sarah, who was usually several minutes late for any occasion). She walked into the house quickly without knocking, throwing herself beside her friend on the couch with a heavy, heaving sigh.
She was quiet a moment, gathering her thoughts. It'd only been a day since her run-in with that annoying jerk who she'd just so happened to imprint on. It was all very inconvenient. She fixed her eyes on her friend, grasping at her hands then (after taking the food from her). "Is there some way to break an imprint?" she asked her quietly.

Hey... She said when she saw the food in her hands being taken away. Looking over at Sarah, she shoved her a little, all in good fun, and just smiled. It was so nice to have a girls night. Talking, movies, and just having fun. Moving, she took a drink of her soda which she kept out of reach of Sarah and just leaned back against the couch. Oh umm...I don't think there is a way. Why do you ask? she said.

Sarah stared at Sydney with a very serious expression, looking quite sad when she said she didn't believe there was a way. She gripped onto her friend's hands more tightly, leaning closely, staring at her. "There has to be some way..besides killing the person. Which, I don't even think I'd be able to do," she said, frowning. She stared into Sydney's eyes again with such an intense expression. "You know how I swore off all those thingyy, arrogant jerks? Well, now I've imprinted on one of the SOBs."

She almost choked on her soda when Sarah said she had imprinted on some SOB. You're joking right? She said, looking over at her. Setting her soda down, she held her friends hands and sighed. I-I'm sorry but I really think there is a way to stop an imprint or...make it go away. I'm sure he's not as bad as he acted. She said, giving a small smile.

Sarah frowned at her friend, looking at her seriously. It was a very odd expression to see on the normally happy face. She scooted closer to Sydney, staring at her intently. "He is as bad as he acted..I know it. I could feel it. He's like all those other guys. And, he's shorter than me!" she finished dramatically. That was a little more of her true self. Over dramatic..

Okay...the whole serious look...kinda creey. she said, scooting back a little. It was odd seeing tha tlook on her friends face since it wasn't exactly one that she saw often. Or at all for that matter. Shaking the thought from her head, she let out a small laugh. Okay...He may be a jerk and all but...there has to be a reason you imprinted on him and WHAT is wrong with short people missy? I'm short. She said, playfullying hitting her friend with a pillow.

Sarah shook her head, frowning. "I imprinted on him because someone decided they'd just screw with me," she huffed, crossing her arms, glaring across the room. She made a face at Sydney's words, scooting closer to her. "But he's a guy. I like my guys tall, since I'm tall." She was continuing to whine now, grasping onto Sydney's arm.

Listen to me!! There is always a reason for something to happen. Whether it be good or bad. Yes...this guy may be a jerk but there could be some other reason as to the way he is like that. Talk to him, bug him. Whatever you like but...the imprint, as far as I know, can't be broken. She said and just let out a small laugh as she looked at her friend. And there is nothing wrong with being with a guy who is shorter than you. Short people are cute and fun and..amazing! She said.

Sarah frowned, shaking her head. She didn't want to be involved with him. Maybe she could just never go near him again. But she didn't think she could. She was already feeling the urge to go see him again. Damn it. She had two conflicting parts right now. One half wanted to just get away from him, the other desperately wanted to see him again. She dropped forward, resting her head on Sydney's lap. "There is plenty wrong with that..It looks weird...And he's definitely not amazing.."

Well...can't say much for the guy but...I'm kind of amazing. She said, just joking around. Looking down at Sarah, she sighed. Everything will be fine. Even if it doesn't seem like it right now...it will be. She said and smiled. OH!!!!! I met a guy...when I was at the beach....it was pouring out and...oh my gosh Sarah...he's amazing and....I think I imprinted on him or something. She said in a soft tone, gently biting her lower lip.

Sarah really didn't think it would be fine. Especially when he friend continued, mentioning the amazing guy she'd imprinted on. Of course she'd get someone amazing. She felt Syd really deserved someone great. Maybe Sarah was getting punished for all her previous guys. Stupid, stupid. She gave her friend a smile, "That's great. At least one of us can get a good match from this imprinting stuff.."

Yes well...I'm still pretty p!ssed off at Sean. He just left me! No word, no goodbye. NOTHING! It makes me so mad. He told me he loved me and all this other stuff and then...poof! Gone! I want to rip his head off! She said, feeling herself getting angry and you could tell too. It was odd, seeing as Sydney was a calm person most of the time. Sighing, she shook the thought from her head and looked down at Sarah. But...I'm trying to get over it. I don't know what will happen between me and him but...I really like him. I've never met a nice guy before. She said.

Sarah sighed, shaking her head some, which was still in Syd's lap. She gave her a slight smile, "I think this guy will definitely be good for you. He'll get your mind of things...it'll be good for you to have someone.." she stated.

I only met him once and though I've been here a few weeks and already know the place...I let him show me around because he asked me if I wanted a little tour. I don't know if it will be anything more but...I hope so. He's so sweet and...he makes me smile. You'd like him if you met him. She said and smiled, practically bouncing in her seat now. Okay...enough about that stuff. Lets watch a movie or...we can do one another's nails or just...pig out on food and talk more. She said.
