Tristian saw her wake and set his book down. Standing, he just watched her as she sat right up and looked around, then at him. Stacy.. He said in a soft tone, not wanting to scare her off. When she went to the other side of the room, he slowly took a step towards her. Stacy...it's okay. You can trust me. He said and just gave a small smile. Let me help you. It's okay. He said and held his hand out towards her.

She stared at him, studying the planes of his face, seeing him with different eyes. It was so odd. She stayed crouched in her corner, realizing then that her teeth was bared..and a growl was rising in her throat as he approached. She stopped that quickly, her brow scrunching up. She stared at him a moment longer before straightening up a little. She was still tense though. "Tristian? she said in a whisper, standing very still, all her questions in the way she said his name. She was so confused.

Tristian nodded his head when she said his name. His hand still held out towards him. Hoping, wanting her to take it. Yeah, Tristian. Remember? I'm your Tristy. He said and took another small step towards her. It's okay. I won't hurt you. I just want to help. Please. He said in a soft tone. He felt so bad, all he wanted to do was to help her out.

She stared at him still, looking hesitantly at his hand. She couldn't help feeling jumpy, even though she knew who this was. She hesitated and reached out, gripping his hand tightly, though she had no idea how strong she was, or that she was probably hurting him. She glanced around slowly before moving toward him a few steps. She fixed her eyes back on him, the aching in her throat returning and she put her hand up to it, not sure what it meant. "I...don't understand," she said after a moment. Everything felt just blank.

Tristian winced a little as she held his hand. Stacy, do you remember what happened? He asked in a soft tone, not sure if she remembered what had happened before all the pain. He wasn't sure where he would have to start to explain everything. He he was hoping that if he asked this question, he would know where to start.

She gripped his hand still, not noticing the wince. She stood very still at his question, very much like a statue as she thought on that. She scrunched up her brow, her eyes still fixed on him. She just remembered endless pain right then. She tried to dig deeper but it really wasn't working. She shook her head a little, looking a little upset. "No...what happened? The pain...how long?" she asked, speaking quickly, in a way no human would have caught.

Oh, no. Sweetie, it's okay. Don't be mad. He said in a soft tone when he saw her shake her head. He reached his free hand out and gently touched the side of her face and then let it fall back down by his side. It's been three days. He said in a soft tone. You were out in the woods and another vampire bit you. The one's I warned you about. Remember. He said. Tristian didn't push it too much if she didn't remember. He didn't want to get her all upstet or anything like that. Gently, he placed his hand over hers and just looked down at her.
I wasn't able to stop the venom in time...you were in pain because, your now a vampire. It's part of the transformation. And the burning you probably feel in your throat right now is because your thirsty. He said and then just stood there and watched her. Hoping that she wouldn't get mad. For several long minutes, he just waited for her to say something and when she didn't he continued on. There is more but I'll tell you later okay? I promise. For now, I should take you out to hunt. Teach you how okay? He said, hoping that she would let him help her.

She frowned a little, listening to him closely. Three days? It'd only been three days...and those three days had been an eternity. Full of pain that had felt would never end. She never wanted to experience something like that again, and she'd certainly never wish such pain on anyone. She tried to focus as he continued, but she was bothered by the aching in her throat. She made a little noise as he mentioned the woods, a vampire. She gripped onto his hand tighter then as it came to her. The fear as she'd decided she might die. And she had..in a way.
She clenched her teeth, realizing that her fangs were out. She barely heard the rest of his words as she lifted her hand, touching those fangs. The pressure of her fingers against them was almost unbearable. The burning ache grew even more powerful. She discovered she'd actually caught some of what he said. Thirsty. That meant blood. And though that prospect had seemed absolutely disgusting in her human form..right now it sounded beyond amazing.
She looked up at him, her mouth slightly open, distracted again for a moment. "My parents...family. I need to talk to them..." she said. She usually talked to them in some form during the day. She worried now that they were scared as to where she was. She stared at him a moment, a more prominent need returning to the forefront. "So thirsty," she said now in a pained whisper, her hand going to her throat again.

Tristian shook his head ever so slightly when she mentioned her friends and family. He had no clue how he was even going to tell her that she couldn't see them anymore. She would hurt them more by being around them than staying away. He didn't want her to go through that. When she said that she was so thirsty, he gently held her hand and pulled her towards the door.
Come...I'll take you up to the woods and show you how to hunt okay? He said as he looked back at her. Just a few things first. You have to be careful. There are humans that camp in the woods and we don't want to hurt them. Your a newborn so you have to be extremely careful right now. Got it? He said as he now walked with her outside and through the woods a little. His head turning back in front of him as he continued to walk.
Second, you are much stronger than you were when you were human. Even more strong than I am because you are a newborn so you have to be careful in that area too. He said and gave a small smile.

She noticed the little shake of his head, not wanting to think about it really. She had to see her parents though. She didn't want them upset, worrying over their daughter, thinking she'd been murdered or something. She bit her lip and pushed those thoughts to the farthest reach of her mind, eager to get out and quench the thirst that was killing her.
She listened to the little rules, she supposed she could call them. She nodded a little, not sure how to be extra careful. She didn't even know what most of the smells were that she was smelling. How was she supposed to tell human from any other animal? Her mouth watered as she thought about the blood that would soon be filling her mouth. She needed to get out there now.
She impatiently listened to his last comments, nodding a little. Stronger than him. She wasn't sure how that was possible, but she accepted it. She zipped to the front door, opening it, stepping out after a moment's hesitation. She stared around, absorbing the world from an all new perspective. She tilted her head a little, drawing a deep breath to bring all the scents into her nose to go with the sights and sounds.
She drew another deep breath and grew very still. She smelled something..something so absolutely wonderful. She ran off then into the trees, following that wonderful scent of human flesh, though she had no idea what scent it was that she was following. She just knew that's what she wanted and she wanted it right then.

Tristian ran as fast as he could right behind her. Sniffing the air, he tensed up when he smelled human blood and ran faster when he saw Stacy heading in the direction of the human. Stacy stop! He hollared towards her though, he knew that she probably didn't hear him due to the fact that she was so hungry. After a moment, he caught up with her and knocked her to the ground. Stacy no. You can't. That's a human. An innocent person. You can't kill them. he said as he looked down at her, hoping that she would listen, though he wasn't sure about that at all.
Helping her up, Tristian held her hand and pulled her in the other direction. Sniffing, he soon caught the scent of several deers and pulled her in that direction. Hoping that she would catch the scent of the deers. There. See? The two scents are different. You'll catch on it time. He said and then made a motion to be quiet. Whispering so quiet, that only she could hear. watch me, then you do the same. Crouching down, he looked at the deer and then attacked one.

She was definitely focused on the prize, paying him no mind in the slightest as he yelled for her to stop. Why would she do that, anyway? She was so hungry, so so hungry and she was hunting. Instinct was taking her over, transforming her completely. So when he knocked her to the ground she was a complete animal. She snarled at him viciously, shoving him off of her. It took a moment of just laying there to even realize what was going on, the fierce hunger leaving her eyes as she stared at him. She tried to absorb what he said. An innocent person. Someone with family, perhaps. Even so, she still so badly wanted to go after them.
She was somewhat calmer when he helped her to her feet, but she was still smelling the human and she was still desperately hungry. She attempted to smell what he did, the musky odor of the deer disgusting to her, as compared with the human. But when he attacked one of the deer, the smell of the deer's blood was enough to make her focus on this possible meal. Despite the less than appealing scent. Seeing him attack it, the sound of the blood leaving the deer's body..it was too much.
She launched herself at the second deer, tearing hungrily into it, her arms and legs wrapped tightly around the struggling creature, though the struggling pretty quickly came to a stop as she gulped out its source of life.

Tristian had stopped and watched Stacy as she attacked the other deer. Standing, he walked over to her as she drained the deer of it's life. When there was nothing left, he gently placed his hand on her shoulder. Okay stacy. You can stop now. He said in a soft tone and then knelt down beside her.

Stacy continued sucking at the rough gash on the deer's neck, urging more blood to flow, though with such a messy bite, much was it had soaked into her clothing. She jerked a little, growling softly as Tristian touched her shoulder, but decided there was nothing he could steal from her, with the deer empty. She drew back slowly, licking the blood from her lips, using her hand to wipe the dribbling down her chin, licking that off her hand. She was a mess now, blood in her blonde locks, staining them. And her clothes were ruined now, with the blood staining down her top and her jeans. She took notice that he was spotless, a frown coming to her face as she looked from him down to herself.

Tristian smiled a small smile when she stopped and just watched her. It made him chuckle a little. Standing, he helped her up. It's okay. You'll get better. Let's get you back to my place so you can clean up. He said as he looked at her and moved to lead her towards his house. He wanted to lay down a few rules afterwards and explain several things that she still might have questions about.
