It'd been a few weeks since she'd been out to the tree to snap shots of Tristian. A few weeks since she'd discovered he was a vampire. It still made her heart race thinking about it. It was certainly something hard to grasp. She didn't really know what to think about it. But she decided she really did enjoy being with him. Having him hold her, kiss her. Oh yes, those were definitely some pluses. She just put the vampire bit out of her mind most of the time. And she mostly didn't think about vampires at all. That not all of them were like Tristian.
She didn't change her habits any, so she went to her usual spot in the woods without much thought. It was another rainy day, with the rumblings of thunder. It was also the afternoon, but right then, the darkness in the woods gave more the sense of evening.
She trudged through the woods, the leaves crumpling wetly beneath her shoes, her jeans already soaked past her ankle. And she wore a jacket, the hood pulled up over her white blonde hair. She didn't have her camera with her today, not trusting the conditions. And she stopped at their tree, leaning against the trunk lazily, though she went on alert when she thought her eyes picked up on movement in the trees. She bit her lip, studying more closely. "Is someone there?" she called out. "Tristian?" She didn't think it was him though, she was an hour or so early of what they'd determined to meet.

Tristian was sitting at home working on some writing in his book. He was leaning back in his chair in his study, music playing softly in the background. He figured he would have a little time before he had to go and meet up with Stacy. Letting out a much un-needed breath, he just let his pen move of the page smoothly as he continued to write.
---------------------------
Up in the trees stood a figure, a grin on his face as he looked down at the young girl before him. Smoothly, he jumped down from the tree and landed just a few steps away from her. His eyes locked on her as he slowly moved towards her. Now, what is a beautiful young girl like you doing sitting here all alone? He said. It could be dangerous. He said, stopping right in front of her now and looking at her.

Stacy jumped when the guy leaped from tree. She stared at him, pressing herself back against the tree. She'd only seen one other person jump from a tree so easily. And how she wished he was there right then. She began to tremble as her eyes fixed on his. It was too dark to make out any color. But the way he moved...She felt sick. She inched away a little, her breath starting to come out in short gasps. "I-I'm waiting for someone..." she said quietly. She turned then and darted away, running as fast as she could away from the guy, darting back into the trees.

Aww...now don't run sweetie. He said and grinned. Moving, he took off after her, liking it when they ran. Made it all the more fun. In no time, he had caught up to her and stood in front of her. Now, why don't you let me keep you company until your friend comes. He said. His hand moving and gently touching the side of her face.

She didn't think she'd be able to out run, but it was better than just standing there. She let out a strangled gasp as he appeared in front of her, stopping dead, stumbling back a few steps. She was breathing hard, despite not having run far, her fear was affecting her. Her heart pounded in her ears, throbbing in her throat. She stared at him, jerking back as his cold hand touched her face. "He...he's a vampire too," she said, hoping maybe that would make him reconsider whatever he had planned.

He just grinned as he watched her, shaking his head a little. Well, he's not here right now. Plus, I think I could take him. I'm pretty strong you see. He said and reached his hand out. Grabbing hers, he pulled her towards him and then let his hand wrap around her waist, holding her where she was. So pretty... He murmured as he leaned down towards her.

Stacy jerked, trying to pull her hand free as he grabbed her. She wasn't sure if she wanted Tristian to show up or not, not wanting him to get hurt. Not for her. Of course, if he didn't succeed in fighting with this guy, she was sure to follow his death. She trembled as he held her to him, tears slipping down her cheeks. She struggled against him now as he leaned into her, pushing against his chest. She let out a strangled scream, kicking at him finally, struggling with all she had to get free.

Aww...now now, be nice. He said as he kicked her and tried to get away. Moving, he let her back rest against the trunk of a tree as he continued to hold her tightly. His free hand moving and brushing her hair away from her neck. Don't scream. Wouldn't want anyone to see now would we. He said and laughed. He let his lips brush over her soft skin and then a moment later, bit her.
---------------
Tristian sat up and set his book down. Something didn't seem right. Something was wrong. Standing he stepped outside and looked outside. He didn't know what, all he knew was that something was wrong. Growling, he took off through the woods, looking for something, anything, that didn't look right. It didn't take him long until he saw Stacy and another vampire not far away. Get your hands off of her! He growled and ran towards her. Wanting to rip that vampire apart.

She closed her eyes tightly as she felt her back hit the trunk of the tree. The tears streamed down her cheeks as she kept her hands pressed against his chest, still attempting to push him away. Even if those attempts were futile. She had known what was going to happen, but she'd really hoped it wouldn't. But as he brushed her hair away, she knew. She shuddered at the feel of his lips against her throat and she let out a piercing scream as he bit her. She barely registered the fact that Tristian was now there, the pain was clouding everything. Tristian had knocked the other vampire away from Stacy and then stood up and just looked over at him. His teeth showing, ready to attack at any moment. When the other vampire moved to attack back, Tristian beat him to the punch and had him pinned to the ground once again. After several minutes, the other vampire had just taken off. For now, Tristian just let him go. Rushing over to Stacy, he gently let his hand rest on the side of her face. Come on.. He murmured and picked her up in his arms. He could tell already that it was too late to try and suck the venom out.

She slipped to the ground as she was released. She had thought, maybe, the pain would end when he wasn't biting her anymore. But the pain continued to sear through her, and she waited to just pass out, wishing the unconciousness would come sooner rather than later. She clawed at the ground, the burning making its way through her whole body. She started to scream again as he picked her up, the pain unbearable. She grasped onto his shirt, clenching tightly. "Make it stop...Stop...burning," she gasped out, letting out another scream.

Tristian ran to his place and got her inside. Heading up to his room, he laid her down on the bed and just looked at her. He wished so much to just make the pain go away for her but he couldn't. It was too late. Gently, he touched the side of her face and just sat there next to her. I can't...I'm so sorry sweetheart. He said. He hated to watch her like this. Just try to relax. It will go away soon. I promise. He said as he gently stroked her hair.

She really felt like she was about to burst into flame. She squirmed on the bed, grasping the sheets tightly in her fists. She wished for death now, it'd certainly be better than this pain. She clenched her teeth fighting back more screams. Tears slid down her cheeks, and she felt the pain finally encompass every inch of her. The burning from the tip of her toes to the tips of her fingers. She did start screaming again, past any speech now. The screams did stop after what seemed like an endless stretch of just a few minutes and she slipped into unconciousness for at least a little.

It had been three long days. Tristian had only left once and that was to go hunting. He didn't go far though, he didn't want to leave her. Currently, he was sitting in a chair at the end of the bed, a book in his hand as he read, walking over to her side every once in a while to make sure that she was okay. He felt so terrible about everything that had happened. He should have been there, he should have stopped this from happening. It was his falt. Shaking the thought from his head, he let out a small sigh and just watched her. Hoping she would wake up soon.

The past three days were just a blur to her. A mesh of pain, discomfort, wishing for death. Of course, to her it felt like so much longer than just three days. She didn't think it ever would end. She welcomed each moment of unconciousness, but she was beginning to wake, her body aching and sore. But the fire, it was slowly slipping away, leaving an aching in her bones. She shifted, her arms, legs twitching. She felt so strange. She was acutely aware of every little sound...smell. She could hear the rustle of leaves outside from the breeze.
She just lay there for the moment, adjusting to the loss of pain. Her eyes slowly opened then and she gasped softly, the little details she saw startling her. She sat up quite suddenly, a quick movement, quicker than she'd ever been able to move before. She saw Tristian then, for a moment recognizing nothing but the fact that he was a vampire. She was on her feet then, leaping to the opposite side of the room.
