Jarod did not run away from the Centre as we all had been told and believed. He did find out that his simulations were being used for the wrong reasons, but that was after he found out something that he had to stop from happening. The Centre wanted a female child for unknown reasons. He had overheard Mr. Raines order some of his goons to retrieve her and bring her back to the Centre.
Then Jarod escapes his cage of his life, and starts to search for the girl that the Centre wants to exploit. He finds her, but not in time to save her the heartache of losing her parents. All complaints of the Centre. However, not long after meeting the girl as her social worker, the child knew that Jarod was not really a social worker. It was also just seconds before Willie the Sweeper had come to retrieve her to take her back to the Centre. But with help from Jarod, she escapes that fate for now…
Now Jarod and the child, Shania, partake of adventures doing whatever necessary to survive, and always one or two steps ahead of the Centre. However, during one of these adventures, Jarod receives an anonymous email containing information on a project called “Cambion”. After some much deep digging, Jarod learns a startling and shocking truth. Shania is Cambion, and that the man she had believed to be her father was not her father.
Again he had stumbled upon one of the Centre’s lies, and more importantly he was part of that lie. He had learned that the Centre had taken some of his seed and used it to impregnate Shania’s mother at the NuGenesis. Now that he knows that Shania is actually his daughter, his reasons to keep her from the Centre had just gotten more personal.
Recently, Jarod had gotten another anonymous message saying that the Centre is after some more scrolls. These scrolls prove more dangerous than the ones Miss Parker and him had found on the Isle of Cathis. Now, he and Shania must race across the globe to find the 52 Scrolls of Apollo and Cassandra before the Centre does. Will they find them all in time? Or will the Centre find them first?
And above all else, will the Centre finally capture Jarod and Shania? Only you can decide.
