THIS SHIPWRECK FROM SET-SAIL
TONIGHT THEY'LL HELP TO FIND A WAY
----------------------------------------------------
the appearance
Eyes: Golden to black, depending on last feeding
Hair: Black
Height: 4'10"
Weight: about 94 pounds
Build: Very petite
Distinguishing features: Height
Play by: Ashley Greene
Overall Appearance: Alice can be described as both pixie-like, and gorgeous. With a very petite build, and a height that reaches just under five feet, it is very difficult to mistake Alice for someone else. Despite her thin body, Alice's arms and legs are toned slightly, showing some muscle. Most of the time, Alice keeps her hair fairly short, just above her shoulders, but sometimes, she lets it grow out. Her deep brown hair could be called black, but beware, Alice will not be happy if you say anything about her hair being black. Like other vegetarian vampires, Alice has golden eyes just after she has fed, that will grow darker, as time goes by without feeding. When Bella first saw Alice, she commented on how her gait would put any ballerina to shame, because when Alice walks, it looks as if she is dancing.
As a vampire, Alice's nails never break, so she keeps them manicured with bright colors often. Then again, bright colors are Alice's thing, and she always seems to be wearing them. Whether it be accessories, a sweater, shoes, or a purse, Alice always adorns each outfit carefully, and perfectly. Jewelry is always interesting with Alice's quirky and unique personality, so one day she may be wearing rainbow bangles, and the next, Alice with have long necklaces in different shades of purple. Alas, because she is a vampire, Alice can't get her ears pierced, therefore real earrings are out of the question, so clip-ons are her best friends.

Dislikes: Reptile blood, violence, fashion disasters, family in danger, dark colors, basketball, being alone

Weakness: Family, humans, loosing, confusing visions, optimism, spunk
Fear: Death/danger of Jasper/family, being kidnapped by Volturi/stronger vampires, trusts people easily
Secrets: Wants a child, has occasional visions of joining the Volturi
Overall Personality: The first words that may come to mind when thinking of Alice Cullen may be bubbly, optimistic, hyper, caring, protective, and determined. If there is one bubbly, happy-go-lucky vampire on this Earth, it would most definitely be Alice. Dancing instead of walking, bouncing all around the place, and always smiling, you can't possibly deny that Alice is a bundle of joy. Excited over the tiniest events, Alice also tends to go overboard with things sometimes. For example Bella's graduation party; the Culllens' house was transformed from something out of a magazine, to a nightclub. And don't forget the trail of Christmas-tree style lights wrapped around random trees, leading the way to the Cullen's mansion. Alice could be described as a little kid, hyper from too much Halloween... But don't let that turn you off, because this can always lead to oodles of fun! Alice is almost always up for anything anyone wants to do, but can become a wee bit competitive when it comes to a competition, battle, or anything of the sorts. Alice likes to win. End of story. But, given the rare occasion that Alice doesn't get her way, look out, because she is known to throw things across rooms (and at people), smash things, and just act like a little brat. But, because of Alice's power she can usually tell what her competitors will do next, giving her an advantage. Then again, when playing with Edward, his telepathy evens out Alice's advantage.
This Cullen can't help but to look on the bright side, when there is always something out there trying to spoil her day. Alice can see something good in pretty much anything you bring up, and Alice even believes there is good in everyone. Take Jasper for example; he often strays and becomes tempted by human blood around him, but Alice does not look at the side of him tending to ignore it and look at his better qualities. But with every pro, there is a con. Because Alice tries only to see the good in people, she tends to trust most people, which can backfire, if they have ill will toward Alice, or the Cullens. In a way, Alice's optimism is both a strength and weakness.
Alice is just so lovable, she is just one of those people that others seem to like right away, because of her bouncy, upbeat attitude. At home, Alice is the annoying younger sibling, running around the house, ranking and irritating people. But to the outside world, mainly humans, Alice seems friendly enough, and she'd probably have quite a few human friends, if she and her family weren't so intimidated. As if being so lovable wasn't enticing enough, Alice also has the charisma and skills of a champion of debate, that when playing her cards properly, there isn't one being on Earth that can say no to her.
One thing that can distract a person from Alice's charming personality is that she is overprotective. Try to harm one of the Cullens, or a close friend, and you'd be better off masquerading in Volterra-Because Alice will probably do a lot more than torture you... Going to great lengths, such as going across the globe to rally up complete strangers to ally her family, Alice will never let you down. With her visions, Alice can easily keep everyone in check, and her world in balance.

the history
Parents: Esme Cullen and Carlisle Cullen (adoptive)
Siblings:Cynthia Brandon, Edward Cullen (adoptive), Bella Cullen (adoptive), Rosalie Cullen (adoptive), Emmett Cullen (adoptive)
Pets: none
Other: Married to Jasper Cullen, and has a niece (Cynthia's daughter)
Overall History: Born sometime in 1901, in Biloxi, Mississippi, Mary Alice Brandon was placed in a mental asylum as a child, because of her visions. Back then, Alice's parents didn't understand her visions as a talent, but a sign of insanity. A vampire who worked there favored her, and took special care of her. Eventually, another vampire, by the name of James, became very interested in Alice. To save Alice, the asylum worker set her free, and bit her turning her into a vampire. James, who wanted revenge for loosing Alice, killed the asylum worker that had saved Alice.
Upon her awakening, Alice was all alone, as a newborn vampire. She soon discovered she had visions of the future. But when she tried to remember her past, all she could remember was darkness. Later, Alice had a vision of the Cullens. This strange coven of vampires fed off of animals, instead of humans. Mimicking this diet, Alice was saved from turning into a savage. Another vision soon came. This vision showed another vampire, Jasper, whom Alice was destined to be with. So, the little vampire set off to a bar in Philadelphia, where her vision showed her meeting Jasper. They soon became acquainted, and Alice told Jasper of her power, and how she saw him, along with a strange coven. Trusting Alice, Jasper followed her to Forks, where they met the Cullens. Esme and Carlisle opened their arms to the two vampires, welcoming them into their coven. Alice and Jasper only wed once, and began attending Forks High School, masquerading as teenage students, with Edward, Rosalie, and Emmett, the other Cullen 'children'.
After a couple years, a human moved to Forks, and caught Edward's attention. Alice, along with the other Cullens strongly disapproved of this at first, but Alice soon saw how much Edward loved her. While playing baseball, the first family event with Bella, another coven of vampires stumbled into Forks. The leader of the coven was James. Although he did not recognize Alice at first, he soon realized who she was. But James's new target was Bella. Fleeing to Phoenix, with Jasper and Bella in tow, Alice was furious when she discovered that James had tricked Bella into meeting him. Thankfully, Bella was saved, and Emmett and Jasper had destroyed James. In a video James had created while torturing Bella, Alice learned of her past, and how she was changed.
Months later, it was Bella's eighteenth birthday. Alice had a blast helping to set up a small party for her, but disaster struck as always. A small paper cut upset Jasper, and he tried to attack Bella. Edward was deeply affected by this, and all of the Cullens moved from Forks that week. Alice spent her time with Jasper, and searching for clues to her past. She dreamed of finding her family. In this process, she found her own headstone, dated with the day she was adimtted to the asylum. Alice also discovered she had a niece, who was her sister, Cynthia's daughter. Alice soon returned to Forks, having seen Bella jumping off of a cliff in a vision and believed her to be dead. When Edward caught word of Bella’s “death” and went off to force to Volturi to murder him, and Alice dragged Bella to Italy so they could save Edward. Alice confessed to Bella along the way that if Edward wasn’t going to agree to change her, Alice might just change her herself.
After Bella and Edward told Alice of their engagement, Alice begged Bella to let her plan the wedding. The wedding, of course, was perfect, except for Jacob Black's appearance. Bella and Edward went off on their honeymoon, and Alice started college, via online courses. But soon, Bella broke the news of her pregnancy. This was unheard of, because most vampires didn't keep their humans around long enough to have children. Bella soon gave birth, almost dying in the process. Edward bit her, and she began changing. By the time Bella was fully changed, Rosalie had taken it upon herself to care for the infant. Baby Renesmee was a strange child, and soon caught the attention of the Volturi. Expecting a war, the Cullens set out to find allies. Alice and Jasper left Forks, seeking out allies, and a rumored half-human/half-vampire. Returning with Romanian vampires, and a half-vampire, Nauthel. The Volturi soon came, but a fight never broke out, even with the werewolves (who turned out to actually be shape shifters). Alice now lives happily in Forks, with her husband, and family. [/right]

Roleplay Sample: (As Leah Clearwater)
Fast asleep a nightmare played behind the eyelids of Leah Clearwater. She was running, running, but from what? This was the terrifying thing, the fact that she didn't know what she was running from, or what was so frightening about it. Then, she fell. She would have smiled, if she wasn't so scared. Every time she fell on her face, she remembered Bella, who was a major klutz, and also a close friend. Then she knew what she was running from. Behind her, the world swelled, and fell into a black hole of nothingness. After it fell in, it was nothing, no one loved it. It was coming for Leah, because she was nothing. No one loved her.
Waking with a start, Leah was covered in sweat. Just a dream, just a dream. It's not real, she told herself. Untangling herself from her bedspread, Leah got out of bed, and tip-toed to the bathroom, just down the hall. When she had nightmares like this, she tried to be quiet, and not wake her mother, or Seth. They were always so tired. And sometimes, they were woken, from the screaming from these terrifying dreams. Drinking a glass of water, Leah sat on the ground, tears in her eyes.
Of course people loved her. Seth and her Mother, and Jacob, they were all like family. Even her old pack still loved her in a way. Even Sam. But just like friendship, not romantically. Would Leah ever find love? No, she didn't think so. She was the genetic dead end, destined for nothing. Which made her dream all the more scary. Forcing herself to stand back up, Leah decided to take a walk. Even if she was wearing purple cotton frog pajamas, and it was two in the morning. She need fresh air.
Carefully closing the door behind her, Leah walked down the dirt road, kicking a rock along the way. She pretended the rock was her anger, fear and pain, and every time she kicked it, all of that would leave her. Half a mile later, Leah kicked her rock off the edge of the cliff, sending her anger with it. Smiling, she felt better. Well, as long as she was here, she should enjoy herself right? Moving away from where the rock landed, so she wouldn't dive into that bad karma, Leah leaped off of the cliff.
It was exhilarating of course, but it only lasted seconds, before Leah broke the water, an knife through the icy sea. Swimming to shore, Leah didn't regret her quick trip one bit. Maybe that was something she needed sometimes too. Excitement in the middle of the night. But maybe she'd bring Seth or Jake cliff-diving at midnight with her next time. Everything was more enjoyable with them. They were her best friends.
Swimming back to the shore, Leah was tired again. Not physically, just exhausted mentally. But she felt accomplished, and wasn't angry anymore. Laying across the sand, Leah gazed at the stars. It was a perfectly clear night, and you could see all of the stars and constellations tonight. Looking for the north star, Leah found herself at peace for the moment.
