It had now been several days since the ball and Jordyn couldn't help but think about that night. Remembering the man she had danced with and how she had an amazing evening. Smiling a small smile to herself, she just made her way through the woods until she had reached the meadow. The one place that she enjoyed coming to just think. Not only that, it was beautiful. Not many people knew where this place was so it was perfect to just get alone if that's what you wanted. Humming softly to herself, she looked around as she stood there in the middle of the meadow.
A cool breeze blowing. Gently hit her face and swirled her chocolate brown hair around her face. Closing her eyes, she tilted her head up and just smiled. Listening to the sounds around her. The leaves rustling on the trees, little creatures nearby running up the trees and through the woods. Birding chirping as they flew around and rested high up in the trees. When Jordyn opened her eyes again, she moved and sat down in the middle of the meadow, letting her bag rest on the ground next to her.
Why had she come here? She really didn't know. It wasn't sunny out. It was actually kind of cloudy. Looking as though it might rain at any moment. There was just something though that drew her here. Made her want to come and just relax. Letting a small sigh escape her lips, she pulled a book out of her bag and went back to thinking about the night of the ball. She couldn't help it! It just made her smile. As she remembered everything though, she remembered his cold touch and his pale skin. It was quite odd as she had never seen anyone like that before. And the what he had said in the garden. It made her think.
Why was it not a good idea for her to hang around with him? Was he some kind of bad guy? The kid who always pulled pranks in school and never showed up? She had no clue. Pushing the thought out of her mind, Jordyn just let a small sigh escape her lips. Opening to where she had last left off in her book, she let her deep blue eyes gaze down at the page and began to read.

Was it werid that he had followed her after the ball? That he watched her every movement and moment that she made. Shaking his head he paced his living room for a few more minutes before he made his choice. He would see her one more time before he disappeared from Forks and everything it had to offer. She wasnt made for him, she was pure human, fragile and kind. While he was nothing more then a killer. Stepping outside he was glad for the clouds that covered the air above him, masking his true nature from all around him.
It didn't take him long to find her, her scent was inside him. Eating him alive, he couldnt even think about another woman at all. And that was bad, he wasn't a mean person but he was a playboy and he wanted and needed woman. He found them to be the greatest creatures on the planet and he was very disappointed in himself a day after the ball. Were he couldnt even get himself up for one of his regular women. Bitting his lip he stopped just at the edge of the meadow were she was. The wind took her scent to his nose and he shivered.
The need to jump her slipped into his mind as he thought about stepping forward. Stopping himself just before he stepped out into the open he stood there and watched her for a few seconds. Taking a small step back he moved to walk away from her.

Jordyn turned the page of her book and let a small sigh escape her lips. Lifting her head she closed her book and set it down in the grass next to her. Running her hands through her hair, she let her hands fall back down to her sides and look around. She was just enjoying the beautiful sounds of nature. She was enjoying being able to hear her thoughts just run through her head. To relax. Her head snapped to the other side after a moment, at the sound of hearing a twig brake.
Hello? She said as she looked around. Is someone there? she said and stood. Brushing herself off a little as she continued to look around. Wondering if someone was out there. She was probably just being paranoid though. It could have just been an animal.

Stopping short he stared at her while he thought about just disppearing before she could even blink. But he wanted to be with her at this moment in time, he had to see if he could get her scent out of his mind, her eyes just everything about her. He had to get it out of his mind. Stepping out of the woods he started towards her, his short hair spiked up alittle. Wearing long black pants he didnt notice how they looked on him. His shirt was the best silk that money could buy, he had undone the first two buttons allowing people to see some of his pale white chest.
He looked like a ghost in all black, but it helped people when it came to staring at his face. His golden eyes smiled down on her as he stopped a few feet from were she sat with her book in her hand. "Hello" came his English accent voice. Silking and fresh just like his clothes. He wondered if she remembered him, if she thought about him. Maybe he was the only one that thought about her...

Jordyn looked up at him as she saw him come out from behind the trees and the shadows. It was him. The one from the ball. Jordyn couldn't help but smile as she stood there and looked up at him. Her heart skipping a beat as her beautiful eyes locked with his. She had hoped to see him again but never thought she would. Hello. She said in a soft tone. Giving a small wave of her hand.
She just wanted to run up and hug him but she refrained from doing that. For one, it would be weird. They had only talked the night of the ball so, they didn't know one another all that well. Two, she wasn't sure how he would react to her just running up and hugging him. Instead, Jordyn just took a few steps toward him and smiled. How are you? She asked.

"I am fine" the answer to her question was easy enough. What he really wanted to say...which stayed in his mind was I cant stop thinking about you, your scent, your body and face is glued into my mind. Every woman I have looked at reminds me of you and it hurts. Your like my drug and I cant get enough of you. Be with me...let me love you Shaking his head hard he smiled at her. She was never going to hear what he said inside his little head...never in his right mind would he let those words slip from his pale lips.
"How are you my lady?" he asked her back. It was the only thing that he could ask, since they hadnt really gotten to know one other at the ball the way he wanted them to. They had danced, went for a walk in the garden before he had slipped her mask off of her face. She was still the same beauty as she was when he had been at the ball. Now she was more then beautiful.

I'm good. She said and gave a small nod of her head. Setting her book down by her bag. Taking a breath, she let it out after a minute and took a few more steps. Stopping just a few steps in front of him. What have you been up to? She asked, letting her hands just rest down by her sides. Her gaze locking with his as she stood there.
Jordyn would never tell him that she had thought about him since the night of the ball or that she hoped to see him again. And she was for sure not going to tell him that she just wanted to jump up and hug him right there. Pushing the thought from her head, Jordyn just smiled, waiting for him to answer.

I'm good A smile lit his face up when she said that she was good. For some reason he was glad that everything was going good for her. Then again he didnt know her as well as his mind was telling him that he knew her alot. Impossible...he had only just met her now he was thinking like he knew her forever. With a small sigh he rubbed the back of his neck before he looked back her. What have you been up to?
He smiled alittle at the question and thought about it for a few seconds before he deicded to answer her. "Nothing much actually" he said to her. His accent lighting up his tone as he watched the wind pick up around her body. "I just bought a house here....but i was thinking of reselling it"

"Nothing much actually"
Jordyn nodded her head as he replied. Yeah, there wasn't much to do in Forks at all unless you wanted to drive somewhere. Often times she found herself doing nothing at all but sitting up in her room or just walking around Forks. Shaking the thought from her head, she listened to him as he continued on. A little sad when he said that he was thinking of reselling his house that he had bought. Oh....Why's that? She asked in a soft tone. She gently bit her lower lip and played with the corner of her book as she held it in her hands. Her head lightly tilted to the side as she looked up at him. Her gaze locked with his.

Mark Valentine CAUSE WITHOUT YOUR DEVOTION;; surely all that i dreamed of would fail ![ like a bird without wings that longs to be flying ] Dark eyes snapped to her face when she asked the reason why. How could he tell her the reason why, it was being to close to her. Being in the same city as her...he wanted to grab her by the arms and drink her dry. His eyes swirled from golden to black in a matter of seconds. With a small groan he turned away from her. His whole body inching to do what he was thinking of doing. But he wouldn't, he couldn't do that. She was a very sweet girl and so trusting of him. How could he drink from her after he knew that?
When he got his hunger under control, he turned his body back around to look her in the eyes."Jordyn..." he began. His voice slow as he spoke to her. It took all of his energy to not bit her. "Its dangerous by yourself...you should go home" He hopped to god that she would take his warning and leave, hopped to god that she didn't find the urge to touch him. Or come any closer, his control was slipping.'Please...run away' he silently toughs to himself.

Jordyn frowned as she listened to him. But I'm not along. I'm with you Mark... She said in a soft tone, taking a few steps closer to him as she looked up at him. I can take care of myself....I've been out here probably a thousand times. Giving a small smile, she let it fall from her face and looked down at the ground. Jordyn just stood there for several long moments before finally saying something. I-I'll just g-go. She murmured and turned to head off though deep down she wished, hoped, that he would tell her to stay.
